HOW TO DOWNLOAD THE MOBILE APP 

  1. Scan (using your phone camera) or click on the appropriate app store button and download the app
  2. Search and select West Cook YMCA
  3. Scan your membership card barcode or use your email on file

ELECTRONIC MEMBERSHIP CARDS
Store your membership card barcode for easy check in and out.
MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS
Members can view and make reservations, as well as filter by category, instructor, time. You will need to register and make a new account during the first time you use the new reservation system.

Access over 100 on-demand fitness videos anytime, anywhere.

Log workouts and view your workout history; tracking the date, activity, distance, duration, and calories.

FAQs 

  1. Is there an additional cost? No, at this time, the app is complimentary to your membership.
  2. How do I get the YMCA Universal App? Use the links above to go directly to the app in the app store and there you will download the app to your device. (Links will be added when the app is launched)
  3. How do I log in? Follow the directions above under the "How to Download the Mobile App" section.
  4. How do I use the GroupExPro Reservation System? Visit www.westcookymca.org/res-reg for detailed information on logging into the GroupEx Pro Reservation system. Please know that if you have never used the new system, you will need to register and create a new account. It does not use the same account login information as the Daxko Membership and Program Portal.
  5. How do I check in using the app? Once you are logged into the app, click on the "3-people" icon in the top right section next to the bell icon. This will pull up your electronic membership card to scan when you come into the facility. You can also go to the menu button on the top left and click "Members Check-In" to bring up your electronic membership card.
  6. How can I find my card number to add to the check-in scan feature? You will use your phone to scan your membership ID card. If you are unable to do so, please email apphelp@westcookymca.org for your barcode number to manually input. If you lost your membership card, please stop by the Member Engagement Front Desk.
  7. Does it connect with other fitness apps? In a future release of the YMCA Universal App, you will be able to connect to fitness trackers. We will share with our members when we have more details for that release.
  8. Will I receive notifications about class changes or facility updates such as closures? Yes, besides email, the mobile app will become one of the key ways we communicate with our members about class cancellations and facility updates including closures. Be sure to turn on your notifications.
  9. Where do I find schedules? Schedules for reservations for the wellness center, track, spirit, mind, and body room, lap swim, open swim, familiy swim, and group fitness including yoga and water fitness can be found under class schedules under the home section of the mobile app.
  10. Where do I find location information in the app? In the top right section, click on "The West Cook YMCAs" for location information. You can also find out more information about the West Cook YMCA by clicking the menu button on the top left and then clicking "Branch Details".
  11. How do I record a workout? On the homepage of the mobile app, click on "Wellness" on the bottom bar of the app, click "Log Workout" and fill out the information.
  12. If I am having trouble with features on the app, what should I do? Click on the menu button on the top left and click on support. You will be able to submit a support ticket that will go to our team and address.
