stay with us
As your Y pivots to support our essential workers including our healthcare workers and first responders through an all-day childcare program, we ask that you stay with us and consider not cancelling your membership. Your membership fees will ensure that we can keep the Y open when we are needed most for our community and be here when the crisis subsides.
All membership fees during the COVID-19 suspension will be considered as a tax-deductible donation and you will receive monthly acknowledgement letters. We understand many of our members are facing financial hardship during this time. If continuing to pay your membership fee is not feasible at this time, please consider the option of placing your membership on hold. With your membership on hold, you will not be charged a monthly fee, and your account will remain active.
Please click on the button to instruct us how you would like to continue your membership and if you would like access to virtual fitness options.

west cook ymca reopening plan
We are looking forward to welcoming you back to the Y. The health and safety of our staff, members, and community will be at the forefront of all our decisions. Our COVID-19 Response team has been working diligently to develop our Reopening Plan that aligns with the Restore Illinois Plan. The West Cook YMCA will move into Phase 3 on Monday, June 15, 2020 with outdoor group fitness classes and one-on-one personal training.
Members can learn more about our reopening plan at our website where you can find a welcome message from our staff, our general health guidelines, our reopening roadmap plan, make reservations, learn about our programs, and launching this upcoming Friday, June 12th, our Rapid Response Scholarship Program. As more guidance is released from the State of Illinois, we will continue to update our plan online.
